Our mission

One Health epidemiological surveillance

The main mission of UGenoPath-OH is to ensure epidemiological surveillance of bacteria and viruses transmitted through water and food.

Field collection Sampling from humans, animals and environment
Laboratory analysis Microbiological and molecular tests on next-generation equipment
Bioinformatics & Genomics Genomic sequencing and advanced statistical analysis
Student training Supervision of theses, masters and internships at UJKZ

One Health Approach

UGenoPath-OH adopts an integrated vision: human, animal and environmental health are inseparable. Our transdisciplinary approach allows us to identify antimicrobial resistance vectors at all levels of the ecosystem.
